Well Shortie we all did all we could. Yet we still lost the battle and I/We fear we may be on the verge of loosing the war for our country. It seems the harder we all work, the harder we fight the worse it gets. Hard to defeat an overwhelming force Shortie. I know you understand your ole uncle. Your parents and brother work from before dawn till well after dark each day. Your aunt does the same and yet it now seems it will be for not. It’s like trying to stop the bleeding on your best friend and all you’ve been taught isn’t enough and in the end he moves on to another higher mission. Excuses won’t work, but we really and trully tried. This is bigger than our families and our Heroe’s this is something we will never understand. It was always go to school, work hard, if you’re lucky buy a car, a house and watch your children and grandchildren grow up. But now what will we leave you and them Shortie but a country full what can you do for me not me for you. Our Flags still fly each day and we pray that somewhere there will come an answer. Take care my Soldier, for I know you Gave All You Could and maybe one day that will be the answer. God Bless You and Yours Shortie and the Men and Women who keep watch over this Great Nation.
